For years, our business came through Instagram and WhatsApp. A customer would see a photo, send a message, and the conversation would start. It worked — but it depended entirely on us. If we stopped posting, the enquiries stopped. If we were offline, nobody could find us.
We knew we needed a proper website. Not a landing page with a phone number, but a real online presence where customers could browse our collections, see our work with proper photos and prices, and reach us directly. The question was how to build it without months of development or a team we could not afford.
We built our store on Eaglecart. It gave us everything we needed in one place — product pages, collections, a proper checkout, WhatsApp integration, Arabic and English support, and an SEO-ready structure that meant Google could actually find and index what we published.
Here is what we did, and what happened.
We published every collection properly
The first thing we did was organise our full catalogue into proper collections. Beds, sofas, nightstands, coffee tables, TV units, dining furniture, kids' rooms, wardrobes, walk-in closets, kitchens, vanities, ceilings and flooring. Each collection has its own page, with real product listings, real photos from our workshop and completed projects, and real prices so customers know what to expect before they contact us.
This matters more than most furniture businesses realise. When someone searches "custom made bed UAE" or "upholstered sofa Dubai," Google needs a page that answers that search clearly. A homepage with no organised products cannot rank. Individual product pages with proper names, descriptions and prices can.
We put WhatsApp on every page
Every page on our website has a WhatsApp button. Hero section, product pages, collection pages, completed projects — everywhere a customer might be browsing, there is a direct path to start a conversation.
This was the right decision for our market. UAE customers, especially for high-value custom furniture, do not want to fill in a contact form and wait. They want to send a message, ask a question, and hear back quickly. WhatsApp is where they are already comfortable. We made it as easy as possible to reach us.
We showed our real completed work
We added a recently completed projects section to the homepage with real videos from jobs we finished in Dubai and Jumeirah — custom beds, TV walls, wardrobes, sofas, kitchens and dressers. Not stock photography. Not renders. Actual work from our workshop, delivered to actual homes.
This builds trust in a way product photos alone cannot. A customer can see we have done this before, done it well, and delivered it to homes like theirs.
What happened in the first month
Within the first month of going live, we started receiving organic enquiries — people who found us on Google without any paid advertising. They were searching for custom furniture in the UAE, they found our website, they saw our collections and completed projects, and they sent us a WhatsApp message.
We also received actual furniture orders placed directly through the website. Customers browsed, chose what they wanted, and checked out — no phone call, no back-and-forth. The website was working as a sales channel, not just a brochure.
This was not the result of a marketing campaign. It was the result of publishing properly — organised collections, real products with real prices, genuine completed project content, and WhatsApp on every page.
What we recommend to other UAE businesses
If you run a furniture, interior design, or any home service business in the UAE and you are still relying only on Instagram and WhatsApp, you are leaving a channel open that you are not using.
Organic search — people finding you on Google without you paying for ads — is the most sustainable source of enquiries a business can have. But it only works if your website gives Google something real to index. Collections with proper names. Products with real descriptions and prices. Content that answers what your customers are actually searching for.
We are a custom furniture and interior design business based in Ajman, delivering across the UAE. We built our online store on Eaglecart and had it live and indexed within days. If you are thinking about doing the same, start by publishing every product and collection properly. The rest follows from there.
